T.G.I.F. Pic Of The Week – Warm Up With A Smile With These Disney Mugs!

WILL THIS COLD NEVER END!!! I would give anything to be at Disney World right now – not only because it’s the happiest place on earth, but because it’s a heck of a lot warmer than Upstate New York this time of year! Alas, I am stuck here, so to cheer myself up, I think I will grab a warm beverage (coffee if it’s the morning time, or cocoa in the evening perhaps?) in a DISNEY MUG:

 Mugs Pixar

Could these Pixar mugs be any cuter? I especially love Nemo

Mugs DIsney Store 1

Find these and other drinkware at the Disney Store’s website

Mugs PrincessMug

I kick myself for not buying this – look at how big it is, I could really use that to wrap my hands around right about now!

COASTER finished

I did buy this one though – I love the vintage collage-y feel to it! Oh – and if you want to make your own Disney coasters like the ones pictured, then check out the DIY here

You can buy Disney branded coffee and tea at the Disney Parks – I always pick some up (and then am always wishing I had gotten more when I run out!), and they really are the perfect treat to enjoy in your favorite Disney mug. Just keep on sipping and hoping for spring…

T.G.I.F. Pic Of The Week Post – Check out these “Charm”ing New Disney Pandora Charms!

Who doesn’t love a little Disney bling? I know I do – I have a few Disney Alex and Ani bracelets, and another super popular Disney collection is their new Pandora Disney Charms which debuted late last year. There are tons of great styles, check out some of my faves:

 Pandora3 Pandora1 Pandora2

Personally I love the sparkly ones – I just know they would look great added to my bracelet!

Pandora4

They have some amazing styles available, and the great thing is – you can get them at any Pandora retailer! Pandora is a really fun concept and they really do have a charm for every occasion. The only drawback is they can be a bit expensive – but I think that makes them all the more special! What about you – do you collect Pandora or another type of charm or Disney jewelry?

T.G.I.F. Pic Of The Week – HAPPY BIRTHDAY To The World’s BEST Husband!

Today is a very special day for my family – it’s my husband’s 28th birthday! WOO HOO! I am so excited to get to celebrate another birthday with him, it’s always fun to spoil him and treat him like a king – after all, he is the best husband/father/friend/person ever!

Seriously though, he is an amazing person inside and out – he’s kind and caring, funny, smart, and he is the most amazing dad to our beautiful 3 month old son and our 2 year old dog!

Abday walter

Abday John

Another reason why he is so great is that he not only puts up with my Disney addiction – but he actually likes Disney too! We have gone several times together, and had so much fun!

I love getting to travel to my absolute favorite place and making memories with my absolute favorite guy! He’s the perfect travel companion – always up for anything and willing to walk around the Parks all day with me – going on rides and shopping and eating (one of his fave things to do at Disney) and seeing shows – we do it all, and I am so glad I have him to do it with

A Big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to him, and to everyone else – Happy Friday (and TGIF!)

T.G.I.F. Pic Of The Week – Baby It’s Cold Outside – So Keep Warm In (Disney!) Style

Olaf

I am starting to feel like Olaf (the frozen made of snow part, not the happy go lucky part) – that’s how cold it has been this week in Upstate NY. Winter is here, that’s for sure – and while I love *some* things about this season, the biting cold is not one of them. I am always looking for new ways to stay fashionably warm, and while I’m at it, if my warm weather wear can be Disney themed, then that’s even better!

Warm Baby Coat

Is this not the cutest thing? It will keep your little princess nice and warm, that’s for sure!

Warm Sweater

Loving this women’s sweater – perfect for the season! Buy it here

warm hoodie

This baby hoodie is too cute – it even has ears! There are adult versions available too at the Disney Parks – I am very tempted to buy the Minnie one…

Warm Hoodie Womens

I tried this on last time I was at Disney, it’s actually nice and thick and would keep you warm for sure!

Check out all the available outerwear online at the Disney Store Here

Hopefully you can find some cute Disney threads to keep you from catching a chill this winter – or better yet hopefully you are escaping to someplace warm (like DISNEY!) to beat those winter blues!

DIY Some Disney Love This Valentine’s Day

Ok so Christmas is over (boo) and we are in the middle of another cold, cold winter (double boo). BUT – luckily Valentine’s Day is coming up (well, luckily for those of you who love this holiday – like me!). I know many think it’s just a Hallmark holiday or a waste of time – but I love it! I love the hearts and pink and red decorations and flowers and candy – and I especially love homemade gifts – they really show how much you care, and since I am a huge Disney fan, I love when my man makes me Disney gifts for Valentine’s Day even more! Here are some ideas/things he has made me that I hope can inspire the romantic in you:

DisneyGifts Cards

Even if you don’t celebrate or enjoy Valentine’s Day, a card saying “I Love You” is great any time of the year – and if you have the time and talent, making one yourself is always the way to go. Over the years, my husband has drawn me several cards featuring some of my favorite characters (mainly Disney ones of course!), and they are some of the best things I have ever received! If you aren’t sure you can make a card, a store bought card with a heartfelt message works too

DisneyGifts Art1

I couldn’t believe it when I opened this one – talk about awesome! My guy had seen a similar crayon art piece online, and decided he wanted to do one with Mickey and Minnie on it for me! Check out the instructions on how to create your own Melted Crayon Art here

DisneyGiftsArt2

Isn’t this one fun? My favorite Disney movie of all time is Cinderella – so my husband made this for me, and I just love how he incorporated pictures from our fun times in Disney! Something like this would be easy to create for the one you love – or you can do something simpler and get a great Disney photo frame and put a picture of the two of you in it. Or you can always check out photo websites like Shutterfly.com which have tons of photo gift items that you can personalize (with pictures from your Disney vacations perhaps?)

Another idea that can really be personalized is a Disney gift basket – there’s tons of Disney merchandise out there, from the Disney Store (both online and in malls!) to almost any local store near you – Grocery stores, Target, Wal-Mart, Department stores like JP Penney – all of them carry an assortment of Disney apparel, toys, accessories, food, and more! Especially around the holidays – places like Target will have Valentine’s themed cards, candy, mugs, plush toys, snacks etc – grab a bunch and put them in a nice basket and boom you’ve got yourself an easy DIY Disney Valentine’s gift! Of course, if you wanted to get a little more creative, you could do a basket themed after their favorite Disney movie, or make one full of stuff for their next Disney trip – the sky’s the limit here!

While the main purpose of this post was to brag about how awesome my husband is and how he gives me great gifts (just kidding – sorta!) – what I really want to impress upon everyone is that making your own Disney gifts for your Valentine doesn’t have to be hard or expensive, and you don’t have to be the king or queen of crafting to put together a nice, personalized gift that shows them how much you care!

T.G.I.F. Pic Of The Week – New Year, New Resolutions!

HAPPY 2015! Can’t believe Christmas is over and it’s a whole new year already! I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to take on 2015 and all the challenges and good times it is sure to bring! I like to make New Year’s Resolutions, and I have come up with some for this year:

Introducing my baby boy to the world of Disney, starting with these:

TGIF NY 1

Yeah, that’s right – Disney Videos! Actual VHS tapes of basically all the classics, and not only will this introduce him to Walt’s classics, but it will also teach him what a VCR is (something he otherwise would never have known, because who uses those anymore anyway? Well, me, duh!)

TGIF NY 2

Aside from videos, it’s also never too early to teach him about the Disney Parks too – he will need a full education on what it’s like to visit the happiest place on earth, and I hereby resolve to start that education ASAP!

TGIF NY 3

Another one of my New Year’s Resolutions is to cook more and to try new recipes. Lucky for me, Disney can help me out with that, with their assortment of cookbooks that contain recipes from the Disney Parks and Resorts!

IMG_32287973495935

My last resolution is the most important to me – and that is to spend as much time as I can with my family and get to watch my baby grow into a little boy – they grow up fast, and I won’t be missing a single minute of it. Before I know it, he will be tall enough to go on all the Rides at Walt Disney World! I can’t wait to take him – but for now, I will focus on enjoying this stage of his life and helping him learn and grow

What about you – do you make any New Years Resolutions? Are they Disney related?

TGIF and Happy New Year to all!
