For many, a healthier lifestyle is part of their New Years Resolutions – which makes sense – what better time than after the always food-heavy holidays to get fit? New Year, fresh start, clean slate and all that. It’s harder than it sounds though – eating healthy is hard, and finding time to work out can be a challenge, too! But – luckily – Disney is here for you – with motivation in the form of RunDisney – believe it or not, the Disney Parks host MANY races each year – here are just a few you can start prepping for:
The Disney Princess Half Marathon is held in February, and it is actually a whole weekend full of fun – there’s the ½ marathon, 10k, 5k, and children’s races – and a health and fitness expo, VIP Race Retreat package, and much more!
There’s also a Star Wars themed half marathon too – held in April, similar structure to the Princess Half Marathon where there’s runs of different lengths and for those of all ages
What better way to follow through on those New Year’s Resolutions than to start training for a RunDisney event? Getting healthy, staying fit, and a visit to Walt Disney World? Sign me up! No ok don’t actually sign me up as I am a terrible runner – but maybe someday ha
