T.G.I.F. Pic Of The Week – In Honor Of Christmas (Part II)

Last week I wrote about how lucky I am to have traveled to WDW TWICE at Christmastime – and I shared some of my favorite memories from those trips with you. Since today is Christmas Day – I thought it would be fun to share some pictures from our Christmas day in Disney World:

It’s sad this is the last year for the Osbourne Spectacle of Lights – I am SO GLAD we got to see them be lit on Christmas Day – it was the best experience of the whole trip by far!

T.G.I.F. Pic Of The Week – Osbourne Lights Are Truly A Sight To Behold!

I just returned from a week at Walt Disney World and I am missing it already! Getting to spend Christmas at WDW is something I didn’t think I would ever get to do – and I am SO grateful that I got to spend it there with my husband and my parents.

There was one thing I was particularly excited for on this trip – and that was to get to see the millions of Christmas lights come to life at the Osbourne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I had heard and read about it, and when we were in Disney in December of 2011, we missed seeing it – so I could not WAIT to check it out

 

We went over to the unlit display about an hour before dusk on Christmas day to get a good spot right in the middle of it all, and when the switch was flipped (by an adorable little girl assisted by Santa Goofy!) let’s just say that we were NOT disappointed…

 

The lights moved in time to Christmas music, and they even made it snow! This was the perfect Christmas Day activity – and I was so glad to get to see them light up – it was a magical experience for sure, and one I am so grateful to finally have gotten to see and share with my family!
