T.G.I.F. Pic Of The Week – Cool Off This Summer With These Delicious Disney Frozen Drinks

Tomorrow marks the first official day of SUMMER – which means trips to the beach, cookouts, fresh cut grass, family vacations (to DISNEY WORLD perhaps?) and most of all – it means long, HOT days. I am always looking for ways to cool off in the summer, and one way I like to do it is with super cold frozen drinks – what could be better on a hot day than an ice cold slushy beverage? Oh – well, one thing that would make it better is if you happened to be enjoying said beverage while at the Happiest Place On Earth – and luckily, they offer quite the selection of delicious frozen drinks to choose from:

The classic frozen lemonade is available at all the Parks – from Disneyland to Disney World, you’ll find this in its classic lemon flavor, and strawberry, raspberry, and other varieties pop up from time to time too!

Frozen margarita anyone? This adults only frozen beverage is not only super cold and delicious (times 3 different flavors!), but its fun to look at too! You can get this at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Gaston’s Tavern is home to “LeFou’s Brew” – an apple flavored slush (available with optional souvenir cup!)

You could always stick with a classic and grab a Dole Whip Float – pineapple soft serve balanced on top of delicious pineapple juice – what a sweet treat

Over at Goofy’s Candy Company in Downtown Disney, you can customize your own frozen drink by picking from a bunch of flavors and mixing them together!

Oh, and you can make your own cup too – with a ton of awesome base/cup options!

Hopefully you’re gearing up for summer and all the great fun that comes along with it – and if you’re lucky enough to be heading to the Disney Parks this summer, be sure to keep cool with these delicious drinks!

T.G.I.F Pic Of The Week – Drool-Worthy WDW Sweet Treats

I am the first to admit – I am a sucker for desserts, and I would eat them for every meal if I could, and I love baking them too. In fact, I love baking them so much that I started a blog to chronicle my baking adventures, and have even made some adorable Mickey edibles, thanks to my trusty Mickey Mouse cookie cutter!

So when I travel to Walt Disney World, I tend to seek out restaurants/places to eat based on the desserts they offer, and luckily WDW offers some AMAZING desserts, like these:

Ridiculous Cross Section of The Butterfinger Cupcakes

Why, might you ask, would I call this ridiculous? well its super moist chocolate cake with a fudge center, topped with a mountain of vanilla frosting, a chocolate shell, and butterfinger pieces on top. Its ridiculously amazing, seriously

Cinnamon Roll (yes, that is extra frosting on the top!)

This Cinnamon roll from the Main Street Bakery is doughy, dense, sweet, cinnamon-y deliciousness, and since it was the last one on the pan, we got the leftover frosting – yum!

Red Velvet Cake Pop Cross Section

This picture does NOT do this Mickey Cake Pop justice – the cake is dense, moist, and flavorful, and its coated in white chocolate with pink sugar on top! and the ears? they are made of marshmallows! It was amazing, and not too sweet, which I sort of was expecting it to be, so I was extra pleasantly surprised there!

A Christmas treat- a Gingerbread man sporting Mickey Ears!

I mostly got this because I thought the ears were so cute! But it actually tasted awesome – not too dry just the right gingerbread flavor, but the buttons/ears were kind of bland, just sweet tasting, however I still enjoyed it. Disney does a lot of themed treats for various holidays like Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s Day, Halloween, and the various seasons as well

Case full of caramel goodies at Karamel Kuche

I had so much trouble deciding between all these amazing treats! I finally settled on a dark chocolate salted caramel – it was awesome!! Can’t wait to go back and try more goodies!

My fave places to grab a yummy treat?
Starring Rolls at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Main Street Bakery in the Magic Kingdom
Main Street Confectionary in the Magic Kingdom
Karamel Kuche in Epcot’s Germany Pavillion
Goofy’s Candy Co. in Downtown Disney (not technically a bakery, but they do sell some amazing candy and sweets!)

There is so much amazing food at Walt Disney World, and I have never had sweet treats as good as these anywhere else, they are worth checking out next time you are in WDW, and I would love to know.

What are YOUR favorite Walt Disney World Sweet Treats?
