Disney Pin Trading is a HUGE thing at The Disney Parks and has been for quite a while now. I resisted it for a long time but I finally gave in a few years ago – and I like to think I keep it at a manageable level – I only buy a couple of pins when I go to Disney, and I like to buy ones that actually mean something to me, that spark a great memory when I look back at them.
Speaking of looking back at my pins – I made this awesome Pin Display Case a few years ago so that I can always look back on my favorites that I keep in there. Since then, Pin displays have definitely become “a thing” – and there are plenty of ways to make your own unique version:
Grab a sheet of corkboard and a cutout of Cinderella’s Castle and boom you have an awesome silhouette display case
Create a Mickey head out of foamboard, and use a unique background – like Disney scrapbook paper, or – what a great use for all those Park Maps you end up coming home with, right?
Foamboard or cork can be cut to fit any frame – so pick something that matches your style or existing décor to display those pins proudly!
Cork letters like these can be purchased at your local craft store, and I saw them at Target recently too
And there’s always this style for displaying them when you head to Disney World…ok just kidding, but seriously, there are so many lanyards to choose from, or you can display them on a hat, backpack, or purse strap too
