The other day I was going through the Toys R’Us holiday toy book – when my son toddled over and flipped the book over and points to a picture of a stuffed Mickey and goes “Daba!” (which is what he calls Mickey). I should be proud, and I am – but I am also scared. He is just barely 1 and already knows what Mickey Mouse is – which is cool, but I wonder what kind of like subliminal messages are in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse….ah well, either way, my kid loves Mickey (yay!), and I suppose that means Disney Christmas gifts this year?
It may only be early November, but I have already started Christmas shopping – and while I still have a lot to do, it’s nice to get some stuff out of the way early. I still do have to shop for my son, so I was thinking some Disney inspiration might be in order:
What kid wouldn’t want to receive a GIANT stuffed Mickey Mouse? Perfect for cuddling and playtime
I love these “road” carpets – and this Mickey Mouse Clubhouse themed one is a great choice for your tiny Disney fan
I saw this at Target and thought it was the cutest thing – what a great way to “play doctor” – just like Doc McStuffins!
This Lightning McQueen toy box is great for everyone – kids will love that it looks like their fave Cars star, and parents will love the extra place to stash the TONS of toys that seem to explode from everywhere
My son isn’t the only Disney lover in the house – and I personally like to deck my halls with a Disney flair:
Personalized stockings hung along the mantle
Or maybe a tree skirt with the family name on it?
Can’t go wrong with these – whether you’re giving them as a gift or using them to make delicious sugar cookies – it’s a win win
And of course Disney sells TONS of ornaments – I personally love to get one each time we go to Disney
Hopefully these gift and décor ideas have helped kick start your holiday spirit into gear!
TGIF!
