It’s before 6am. I’m at the gym. And I have already downloaded Disney+ (what can I say, I’m impatient and couldn’t wait any longer!)
So I signed up for my free trial (after I pulled my Disney credit card out of my Disney wallet…let’s just say this Disney nerd has been waiting a long time for this)
Here’s what it looks like when you sign in:
I love the look of the app – the categories that immediately caught my eye were “Originals” and of course “Out Of The Vault” – which brings me right back to my childhood – but no VHS needed with this new service!
My son will very excited to see this and all it has to offer for him – especially the selection of toy story shorts and movies. Of course I am ordering this service “for him” but let’s be real here – it’s really for me!
I know I’m not alone – how many others out there will be downloading the app and signing up today?
Last week I wrote about how we were Prepping for my son’s 5th birthday party, and how I was hoping it would all go well.
Luckily, it went off without a hitch – everyone had fun, enjoyed the game, craft and piñata, and there were no tantrums (from the kids or adults – so that’s a MAJOR win!)
Everyone loved the Toy Story theme, and I was proud of my husband and I for pulling off a party for over 20 kids and not losing it – lol! It was his first “friends” birthday party and he loved having all his pals there to play and celebrate with!
Next week, my little baby turns 5 – it’s hard to believe it’s been 5 years since he made me a mom – pardon me while I go sob about how big he’s gotten…
…Ok, now that I’ve had a good cry, back to the matter at hand – namely, his BIRTHDAY PARTY! It’s his first “friends” only party, and his theme? TOY STORY 4 – Specifically anything and everything to do with FORKY. Which – I can’t blame him – that movie was amazing, and Forky was hilarious
So, here’s what we have planned for the birthday boy:
We are going to make our own forkys, pin the eye on forky, and have a toy story photo booth with a giant forky! Oh. And matching shirts because – well yeah I am a bit extra haha
Pray for my survival tomorrow – as I try and tame a roomful of 5 year olds for craft and game time.

Ready for the movie!
Last weekend we finally got to go see Toy Story 4 – and after hearing others saying things like “they should have stopped at 3” and it was only “ok” – I was worried if I would enjoy it. But I honestly LOVED IT – laughed out loud, cried at the end like a baby – amazing. And my son loved it too!
Asked him what his favorite part was after it was over – and he said Forky (no surprise there!)
For those who don’t know, Forky is Bonnie’s new toy that she made at school, and who she loves more than anything. Much of the movie revolves around Forky – teaching him how to be a toy and convincing him life is good as a toy – Woody takes on much of this mentor role and it is really well done!
My son then asked me what MY favorite part was – and here’s the spoiler:
My favorite part was Knifey – the girlfriend for Forky Bonnie made at school at the very end of the movie – in fact it’s in the first part of the credits! I just thought it was such a funny way to end a great movie!
What about YOU – did you see it yet? What was YOUR favorite part?
The time has finally come, Toy Story 4 has come out in theaters and finally we can all go see it!
This week I have this adorable pic of my son to share – he just put together some Toy Story 4 legos with his dad and he’s pretty proud!
He can’t wait to see the new movie – how about you?
It’s everywhere I look – Facebook ads. Tv commercials. STORES – clothes, shoes, toys, books, cereal, fruit snacks, juice boxes – Toy Story 4 is taking over the world!
It was even present at my a birthday party my son and I recently attended:
My son’s friend got basically every Toy Story toy ever – and truth be told I am actually really jealous. That Buzz Lightyear robot looks awesome! And I love his face when he opened the Toy Story Play-Doh we got him ❤️
Oh. And we can add party supplies to the list of merchandise out there too – all available before the movie even drops!
Less than a week until we finally see what Toy Story 4 is all about!
