T.G.I.F. Pic of the week-edible architecture for the holidays at WDW

Theres no doubt that Disney goes above and beyond when decorating for the holidays, and as I have already explored, Christmas is no exception.

One Disney tradition is as simple as mixing flour and sugar and decorating with some gumdrops….thats right, Gingerbread houses. But these arent some mini little houses, no no-these are huge lifr size creations that are as good to look at as they are to eat!

Several Walt Disney World resorts have gingerbread displays, but the best one (and the only one I will be going out of my way to see next week when I visit Disney!) is at the Grand Floridian, its a huge house made of gingerbread shingles, and you can even visit the store inside the house to purchase some delicious goodies, yes thats right you can go INSIDE the house!!

While you can’t eat the house, you can purchase some pretty cute shingles to munch on as you marvel in the christmas/disney/gingerbread magic!
