Walt Disney World sells millions of mouse shaped/themed items in the parks every year. However, for those of us NOT in the market for a plush Mickey Mouse, there are adult-friendly shopping options in WDW
The best place for shopping in WDW is definitely Downtown Disney.
The open air market area boasts stores such as an Orlando Harley Davidson store, Ridemakerz (where you can build your own customized radio controlled car or truck), and Curl by Sammy Duvall (selling surf related apparel and merchandise), as well as many others. There’s also places to eat like Wolfgang Puck Express and Earl of Sandwich, and there’s even a McDonald’s (in case you get sick of Disney food-which is pretty much impossible!)
Aside from the Marketplace area of Downtown Disney are the areas known as Downtown Disney West and Pleasure Island, where adults can get a little “Nightlife” action, from taking in a movie at the AMC theaters to taking in a Cirque Du Soleil show, to grooving to some live music at the House of Blues or Raglan Road Irish Pub
And if you change your mind and decide you really do want something Mickey themed, there is the selection of kitchen items at Mickey’s Pantry, as well as a large selection of everything Mickey at World of Disney.
