I recently wrote about how excited I am for the new Muppets: Most Wanted movie to come out, and luckily for me and all you Muppets fans out there, the wait is finally over! The movie hits theaters today, and I can’t wait for the singing, dancing, joking, and general hilarity that comes along with the Muppet crowd

What can you expect from this sequel to the hit 2011 Muppets Movie? Well, here’s a few hints…

Counting Down To “Muppets – Most Wanted”

I don’t know about you, but I am a HUGE fan of the Muppets – have been for as long as I can remember. So when The Muppets movie came out in 2011, I was thrilled to see they were getting a 21st century revival – and I especially loved their new Muppet sidekick – Walter!

Muppet Walter

Lucky for me and all you other Muppet fans out there – Walter (and all the other Muppet characters!) are back with a new movie – “Muppets – Most Wanted” on March 21!

Muppets Poster

The story involves good guys and bad guys that look like the good guys (a Kermit look alike to be specific!) – I don’t want to give too much away, but you can check out the trailers and official info here

Muppets Polist

Oh, and we can’t forget about all the merchandise that comes along with a new movie release – like these awesome OPI Muppet-themed nail polishes! I can’t wait to see what else pops up at the Disney Parks and in stores!

Muppets Manhattan

I will definitely be heading to the movie theater to check out the new movie as SOON as it comes out – but I have to say – as much as I love the new movies, there’s definitely something to be said about 80’s Muppets – and my personal favorite – the Muppets Take Manhattan!

What about you – will you check out the new Muppet flick?

Alex And Ani Disney Styles Are Fashionable And Fun For All Disney Lovers!

alex-and-ani3

For those of you who haven’t heard of Alex and Ani, they are a jewelry company with amazing designs and Made In America products – and they are currently THE HOT THING – they look great stacked together and you definitely can’t have just one (brilliant marketing on their part, don’t you think?)

They have tons of amazing designs available online through their website, and not only are they Made In America but there are a bunch of styles whose profits benefit various charities (a bracelet that supports homeless pets? Yes please!). I love spending time browsing their selections – but I have to admit, there is really only one collection that I am interested in – and it’s not available through their website…

And that would be the Alex and Ani Disney collection of course – how beautiful are these? They come in several designs – Mickey, Minnie, Castle (both Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella designs), Cinderella, and birthstone selections – among others – are available at the Disney Parks as well as through the Disney Store website. I learned of these via a friend’s Instagram while I was at WDW – which is lucky, as I was able to stalk all the stores in the Parks for the designs I wanted!

AlexAniMine

I snatched up a Minnie first, and actually couldn’t find the Castle anywhere in the Parks – but was able to order it from the Disney Store (luckily!). Check out all the amazing styles here. Hmm, now I just need to figure out which one to get next…decisions, decisions…

Missing The Happiest Place On Earth? Disney-Fy Your Home For That Magical Fix!

image8

I don’t know about you, but I tend to go through a MAJOR Disney withdrawal post-trip – and it makes me want to plan another trip and go back ASAP! As we know though – that isn’t always possible – and sometimes I have to figure out other ways to beat those Disney Blues. Here’s what I like to do:

SHOP! – I like to check out the Disney Store online and pick out things to help decorate my home and wardrobe so that I can keep that Disney magic alive and be reminded of just how much I love it. They even have a section of Disney Parks Merchandise – it’s almost as good as the real thing (well, sort of anyway…)

Recipes – I have several Disney Cookbooks with recipes from the Parks and Resorts, and it’s a lot of fun to flip through and look at the pictures and recipes and recreate some Disney dishes at home. Don’t have any Disney cookbooks? Fear not – as I regularly post on Chip and Co

Crafts – I love doing crafts, especially for holidays and loved ones – so it makes sense that I also love DISNEY crafts – check out a great selection here – this would be a great thing to do with your kids too, to help get them excited for a WDW trip (or to cheer them up after a trip)

Movies – A surefire way to beat the Disney blues is to pop in a Disney Movie – I even still have a bunch on VHS (and yes I even have a working VCR hooked up to my TV). My faves? Cinderella, and anything Muppets!

Post vacation depression happens to everyone – but these tips can really help lessen the load and put a smile on your face!

T.G.I.F. Pic Of The Week – Feeling That (Disney) Love In The Air!

  Vday MM

Happy Valentine’s Day To One And All! To many this may be an annoying day full of overpriced flowers and pink hearts, but I personally have always loved Valentine’s Day – a day to express your love, or to reveal a new love, or to rekindle with an old love!

For all you Valentine’s Day cynics out there, might I suggest a Disney movie or two to help remind you how grand love is?

Vday ARiel

Who didn’t cry for joy when Ariel finally got to kiss Eric?

Vday Lion

Who didn’t tear up at this scene from the Lion King while “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” swelled in the background?

Vday Walle

Robots have feelings too – Wall-E reminded us of that!

UP

Oh Lord the first 15 minutes of this movie had me in tears, and I love the overall message about fulfilling your dreams

Vday Cindy

And my personal favorite Disney movie of all time – Cinderella – which proves that a great pair of shoes really CAN chance your life

Hope these were a nice little reminder of just how powerful love can be!

T.G.I.F. Pic Of The Week – Fun Disney Finds For Your Love At Target!

I am a HUGE fan of Target – they have pretty much anything and everything you could ever need all in one place, and the prices are usually more than reasonable. I would say if I had one complaint about them it’s that I seem physically incapable of walking out of there for less than $50, but that’s just because their stuff is so cute! Like these awesome Mickey and Minnie Valentine’s Day finds – aren’t they cute?

Mugs, candy, Pretzels, cookie sticks, plush Mickey/Minnies – they definitely have something for your Disney loving Valentine – so head over to your nearest Target and pick some up before they are all gone!

Personally I am hoping for the kissing Minnie and Mickey mug from my honey this Valentine’s Day (hint, hint!)

TGIF!
