Ok, so I know it is only October, and many might think it’s too early to be thinking about Christmas, but the stores already have Christmas trees and decorations out, so I can’t help but start to feel just a little bit of that Christmas spirit and magic!
I was lucky enough to get to visit Walt Disney World last December, and even luckier to get a chance to attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, where we enjoyed free cookies and hot cocoa, an amazing parade, and SNOW on Main Street! I highly recommend that you get tickets for the Party if you are visiting WDW during Christmas time – its an extra cost, but well worth the price I think
The Castle is covered with over 200,000 LED lights, and they are attached to the castle using over 40,000 square feet of fisherman’s net that is painted to match the Castle colors (so it blends in during the daytime!). Over 18 miles of electrical cable are used to bring the lights to life, and the effect is just breathtaking

It’s like taking two of my favorite things (Christmas and WDW) and putting them together in one bright and sparkly package!
TGIF!

You know I LOVE WDW at Christmas
