T.G.I.F. Pic Of The Week – French Quarter charm

I know I have written about Walt Disney World’s Port Orleans French Quarter Resort before, but in my defense, its so great that one post about it just isn’t enough!!

The resort is so many things – beautiful, quiet, romantic, well laid out, themed perfectly,  and with recently renovated rooms (with comfy queen beds!)

I stayed here last month and was had read a lot about it before the trip, and knew it was going to be nice, but once I arrived I was blown away by how much nicer it was than I had thought it was going to be.

The resort truly is the perfect place for adult travelers (and well, really anyone who wants to experience real old fashioned new orleans charm, complete with beads, beignets, and gumbo!). Another bonus is its price-it falls into disneys “moderate resort” category, which to me means its a lot of hotel for a relatively small price.

Check out disneys official resort site here- http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/resorts/port-orleans-resort-french-quarter/

After a long week at work, and after experiencing some cold and wintry conditions typical of another upstate new york January, I truly wish I was back at Port Orleans French Quarter, there is just something about it that makes it special, and I hope to get to stay there again soon, and its definitely worth a look when you’re planning your next Walt Disney World trip

TGIF!!
