This week’s pics are inspired by my own life – I am going to Walt Disney World in December (which I am VERY excited about – getting to see WDW all decorated for Christmas has been a dream of mine for a long time!) and we were planning on staying at Disney’s POP Century resort…but thanks to the ‘Free Disney Dining Plan’ offer, we have the chance to upgrade to a nicer resort, and have decided to stay at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter, which is SO beautiful that it has inspired this post!

Port Orleans French Quarter really is a great replica of the New Orleans French Quarter style architecture and atmosphere.
The resort is smaller, quieter, and more beautiful than a lot of its comparable lodging counterparts. All the rooms were recently renovated to include 2 queen beds (a step up from other resorts that offer 2 doubles), and the ‘streets’ of the resort are a perfect place to take a leisurely romantic stroll
…Oh and did I mention they are the only place at WDW that serves up authentic New Orleans style foods like gumbo and beignets (amazing pastries that are like a donut only fluffier!)
If you can’t decide where to stay at WDW and are looking for a slightly more ‘grown up’ place where you can relax and enjoy your serene surroundings, I urge you to check out Port Orleans French Quarter!
